چکیده

Stephan's Quintet (SQ) is a nearby compact galaxy group and perfect laboratory for studying the process of evolution through harassment interaction. By analysing kinematics SQ we aim to provide an increased understanding group, history interactions, their cause effect, details regarding physical processes occurring as galaxies interact. The Stellar , Gas And

We present analysis of the near-infrared spectra of 114 rest-frame UV-selected star-forming galaxies at z ∼ 2. By combining the Hα spectra with photometric measurements from observed 0.3–8 μm, we assess the relationships between kinematics, dynamical masses, inferred gas fractions, and stellar masses and ages. The Hα line widths give a mean velocity dispersion σ = 101 ± 5 km s and a mean dynami...

Molecular gas in the intergalactic medium of Stephan’s Quintet

Stephan’s Quintet (SQ) is a Hickson Compact Group well known for its complex dynamical and star formation history and its rich intergalactic medium (IGM). In order to study the extent, origin and fate of the intergalactic molecular gas and its relation to the formation of stars outside galaxies and Tidal Dwarf Galaxies (TDGs), we mapped with the IRAM 30m antenna carbon monoxide (CO) towards sev...

A High Resolution Mosaic of Molecular Gas in Stephan’s Quintet

We present high resolution CO J=1−0 observations of the molecular gas in the Hickson Compact Group Stephan’s Quintet (HCG92). Our observations consist of multiple pointing and mosaics covering all the regions where CO and star formation has been detected. Within the 100 field of view centered on the eastern-most tidal tail, we detect three clumps of emission that may be partially resolved at ou...

the study of bright and surface discrete cavity solitons dynamics in saturable nonlinear media

Supermassive black hole binaries in gaseous and stellar circumnuclear discs: orbital dynamics and gas accretion

The dynamics of two massive black holes in a rotationally supported nuclear disc of mass Mdisc = 10 8M⊙ is explored using N-Body/SPH simulations. Gas and star particles are co–present in the disc. Described with a Mestel profile, the disc has a vertical support provided by turbulence of the gas, and by stellar velocity dispersion. A primary black hole of mass 4 × 106M⊙ is placed at the centre o...
